The Jaw Dropping Talents page is just what it says, artists of all styles ,all genres and all mediums ( whose works are not all neccessarily downloadable), the discovery of whose works were like climbing into a hole on a mountainside on a dark and dingy day only to find youself lit up and blinded by the light of the worlds largest untapped and undiscovered gold seam...
Our first jaw droppers art is the most outstanding piece of work we have seen in recent months.
Nations all over the world have ancient works of art closely guarded in museums as their own highly coveted National treasures. And now, in the twenty first centuary, Canada has had one gifted to it on a plate.
Forget about the treasures of Tutenkahmen, Assyrian ceraphs, and greco- roman arts and sculptures. Drop the book of kells and the intricate golden torcs crafted by the ancient celts, rip up your rennaiscance classics and start all over again because the art of David Lloyd Thompson has outdone them all with a source of inspiration which pre dates them all.
Self taught and enlightened in anthropology, ancient art and religeon , also heavily inspired by Graham Hancocks interperatations of early cave paintings in his book 'Supernatural', David's "Subconscious Landscapes" have taken art right back to its very root and created an absolute masterpiece. He claims that his unique mono print techniques have taken him about twenty years to perfect - but given his historical understanding on the developement of human art and spirituality we would say it was a process roughly 35,000 years in the making.
Another craft and era instumental in the developement of this treasure ( we think to call it anything else would be an insult ) is that of the puzzle boxes developed in Japan during the eighteenth century and David is fascinated by the way they incorporated multiple functions into one object.
We think any self respecting art collector, wealthy buisness man, designer, architect or purveyor of mansions is going to be fascinated as to how they can incorporate his works into their own possessions. Even though his prices may seem expensive to many, we think their actual worth is far, far greater - and everyone who has ever seen his work for the first time has had just one quiet, astounded word to say.... Wow...

OK, .. when it comes to uniqueness and originality he can't be topped , but put a pair of drumsticks in his hands and watch this next talent put him to shame. Actualy, the chances are that he can put 99% of most professional drummers to shame! Igor Falek and his drumming skills have been causing quite a stir since a video was posted of him practising with his dad on Polands YouTube last year. Igor is now six but when this video was released he had only just turned four.YouTube has been inundated with child prodigies scince but Igor still remains the favourite due to the 'cute' factor . If you are a professional drummer and have spent the last few few decades touring the world then watching the following video may prove very harmfull to your self confidence and could quite possibly make you want to quit...

From cutting edge art we now move on to cutting umbilicle chords... but what possible jaw dropping talent could these georgious newborn babies all share...? Well, here are a few clues about what they're not. Firstly, they are not anything to do with those secret genetic experiments rumbled by 'the bloke upstairs' on our Originality award page
( -see that story in our Musical Interlude section), so no, they can't sing, dance or play any instruments.
Secondly, even though we had more than our fair share of babies by an intensive breeding program that spanned over twenty years none of these beautiful bundles of joy are mine nor any other forgotten rock stars.Take a closer look
at each one by clicking on the photo's to enlarge them. Have a good look at their facial features ,hands and toes and see if there's anything that might give you a little clue...
Just to baffle you a little more let me tell you that none none of these babies were born either on the same day, to the same mother or father nor are they related in any way .
For your final clue let me tell you that it has something to do with 'Jaw Dropping' art, otherwise it wouldn't be on this page and no, it has nothing to do with computer graphics, Daz3D, musical responses, early speech developement, or even painting masterpieces with their toes. But it does have something to do with the special way they were born. Give in yet? running out of possible options..? OK, we'll tell you, these babies weren't just born, they were all reborn...
and no that doesn't mean that they're all Born Again Christians but it does mean that they were all 'born' twice in a method that gives a new meaning to the phrase about having "a bun in the oven".
Reborning is actualy a process that involves no real flesh and blood at all. All these babies have actualy been very skilfully reborn by British reborn artist Debi King out of the molds and frames of ordinary, everyday, vinyl and plastic childrens dolls.
The dolls are placed in an oven on a low heat for up to twelve hours and then stripped back to the original mold to be built up, crafted and painted in layers using 'genesis' craft paints. Every tiny and intricate detail is added in layer by layer..the skull, fontinel and bones, the muscular tendons to shape the face along with the folds and creases of the skin in the face hands and feet. The tiny capilaries, vessals, veins, skin blotching and birth marks along with the reflective moisture to the eyes and even the lips are all painted in to each layer of skin to give an incredibly lifelike texture, appearance and such an astounding individuality and realism, that many people have to look very long and hard to find any clue to their origins.Even the hairs on their heads have been painstakingly implanted into each folicle for the ultimate in realism. Even their weight ratios, the floppyness of their necks and other joints have all been accurately modeled. Many 'reborners' -as the artists are now called - can make life like babies to order based on their 'real' counterparts photographs along with internal mechanisms to simulate 'real' breathing and heartbeats. Many collectors will gladly pay thousands of dollars, yen or pounds for an authentic 'reborn' baby and this new found artistic skill is being sought after and learned by an ever increasing population of new artists worldwide , though very few manage to hone their skills with such precision and attention to detail.
